The Crichton University Campus is a unique collaboration shared between the University
of Glasgow and The University of the West of Scotland (formerly University of Paisley).
Located just two miles from the centre of Dumfries, the campus has a beautiful setting in
85 acres of parkland and woods that overlooks the River Nith and the Galloway Hills.
The campus as just received £5.5 million investment and the relocation of the Dumfries
and Galloway College to the campus will increase student numbers greatly in 2008.
The Crichton Foundation is a charitable fundraising organisation working to develop
higher education facilities and accessibility in Dumfries and Galloway.
